I have always loved being creative and writing critically, and now I love witnessing and helping articulate the imaginations and reflections of students expressed through their own pieces. I am also a nanny and an actress, singer and musical theatre performer around Melbourne.
I love helping students to gain confidence in writing and dive deeper into their texts. When I’m not tutoring or studying linguistics, I can usually be found reading, sewing and going for walks with my friends.
Tutoring English has been extremely fun for me and I have found being a mentor very fulfilling. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing and playing guitar (badly).
The ability to build rapport with, and empower my students have been some of the major reasons why I enjoy tutoring. In my spare time, I like to read, muck around on my piano and guitar, and attempt to not burn down the kitchen – also known as ‘cooking’!
Being able to support students to feel confident in their knowledge and understanding is one of the main reasons I became a tutor. I also love reading and talking about books. In my spare time, you can find me trying to explain a podcast to my friends that I only vaguely remember but that I’m sure they’ll find interesting.
I find a lot of satisfaction in leading sessions that are fun and enjoyable, while still educational, for my students. I am also passionate about dance and dance education.
I love supporting students to gain confidence in, and outside, the classroom. As a current post-graduate student, I understand the stressors of being a student, but I know that having a little help can go a long way. In my free time I enjoy listening to podcasts and going bike riding with my husband.
